If your boss wanted to help you, she would initiate the labor certification process to bring you back as a skilled worker. For the month of October, the visa chart of the Dept. of State shows that for this type of category, immigrant visas are available for labor certifications begun on July 1, 2010, indicating that the current time is approximately 3+ years. I note that if you were working in the United States previously and were here illegally for a year or more, you would be barred from returning to the States for 10 years. Insofar as your question on the cost is concerned, we unfortunately do not quote legal fees publicly, but we are reasonable.Due to the limitations of the Lawyers.com Forums, Alan Lee, Esq.'s (the "Firm") participation in responding to questions posted herein does not constitute legal advice, nor legal representation of the person or entity posting a question.
