QUESTION

Proving we live together

Asked on Aug 20th, 2015 on Immigration - North Carolina
More details to this question:
My husband used his VA benefits to secure a mortgage to buy our house therefore I am not on the title deed or mortgage documents. Now we are getting ready to apply for my green card and I don't know what document to use to prove that we live together. Before buying this house we used to have a lease with both our names in our former apartment. Is this former lease helpful, and if not what document can I use to prove that we live together?

There are numerous other items to prove a bona fide marriage. It will depend on how long you have been married.  Your old lease is very helpful, so are joint bank accounts, insurance, driver's licenses, bill, etc. Please let me know if you would like assistance with the filing or preparation for your interview.
