I am working in USA from past 3 years on L1B Blanket Visa. My visa got expired on Sep 23 2012 and I filed for L1B Blanket visa extension. Last week my wife went to India on a personal work. Now, for her to come back to USA, she needs a tourist visa because until my L1B visa gets approved, she cannot get L2 visa. Can I sponsor her for Tourist visa or only a person who has a valid visa has to sponsor for her tourist visa?

Tourists do not require sponsors.
