QUESTION

Regaining Green Card

Asked on Jan 09th, 2015 on Immigration - Minnesota
More details to this question:
I was forced to abandon my Green Card when I was 12 because of my father's re-employment outside the US. I am now currently studying in the US on an F-1 visa. Is there anyway I can regain my Green Card without going though the whole process again?

Unfortunately, no there is not. If you were outside longer than a  year and are now here as a nonimmigrant, you cannot get back what you already returned/abandoned.
