You can have your partner make an application for a B-2 visitor's visa at the American Embassy on the basis that you and your partner have a relationship of some duration and that he or she wishes to stay with you during the time that you are in the US under H-1B status. As you are aware, your partner cannot be classified as an H-4 dependent without marriage.Due to the limitations of the Lawyers.com Forums, Alan Lee, Esq.'s (the "Firm") participation in responding to questions posted herein does not constitute legal advice, nor legal representation of the person or entity posting a question.
