TN VISA persuing green card

More details to this question:
I'm Mexican, working with a TN VISA the last two years, my family is here with me with a TD visa, would like to know the options I have to obtain the green card, if I need to get the H-1 visa first and then apply for green card, assuming my company approves the process.

You are not required to obtain an H-1B visa before seeking permanent residence. Your employer can start the process while you are in the U.S. with a TN visa. The issue will be timing as travel outside the U.S. can be an issue as a TN visa does not allow for dual intent.
