QUESTION

Travel Restrictions

Asked on Feb 21st, 2013 on Immigration - Minnesota
More details to this question:
Hello, I was charged with a gross misdemeanor in the State of Minnesota. I received a stay of adjudication and will shortly be on 1 year of unsupervised probation. I am planning on studying in Argentina this June. My attorney told me I could travel out of country while on this unsupervised probationary period. He is not an expert in immigration/emigration. My question is: does Argentina have travel restrictions for people on probation. I know Canada, for example, has many restrictions I have checked the travel.state.gov website for information and there is no information listed. Thank you.

Are you a US citizen?  You should consult an Argentinian attorney to find out if there are local restrictions on travel.
