Asked on Apr 27th, 2016 on Immigration - Kentucky
More details to this question:
I have to wait for my divorce to file a K-1 visa for my fiance. She is not currently working and living with family. How can we get her a travel visa while waiting for my divorce to be finalized? We would like for her to be able to meet my parents and family before the wedding.

Your fiancé is free to apply for a visitor visa. She would start the process by filing Form DS-160 with the U.S. Department of States. However, under the circumstances, she is unlikely to be issued a visa. A consular official will likely debt the visa application for immigrant intent given the purpose of her trip and her lack of ties to her country.
