I am a US citizen engaged to a British citizen. We have been together for almost 6 years traveling the world together. We plan on getting married February 2014 in Mexico and then residing in the US. What is the legal process for him obtaining a green card?

You will need to start the process after you guys get married by filing I-130 petition. Then, you will need to file an affidavit of support; after that your husband will be apply to go to the US consulate and apply for an Immigrant visa.
