QUESTION

What are my chances of getting a visa?

Asked on Sep 15th, 2013 on Immigration - California
More details to this question:
I am high school senior this year in Albania (Southeast of Europe). I would like to apply to a community college for next year studies. I have my own bank account supported by my father and also a friend in the US (with US citizenship, non-Albanian) will support me. I would like to know how much are the chances that they will issue me a visa and what should I do. Please an answer.

If you show that you have the resources to come and study in the US and you have intent to permanently stay in the US, you should get the visa.

You have to make out a convincing case that you have no intention to immigrate and provide as much documentation as possible to show your ties to Albania. Your chances really cannot be speculated upon.
