QUESTION

What can i do to avoid deportation

Asked on Oct 05th, 2016 on Immigration - North Carolina
More details to this question:
I have filed for asylum and it was denied , i was taken to removal proceedings and eventually ordered deported... My country would not accept deportees, ICE had to release me on order of supervision... Within that time i married my long time girlfriend , filed for the I-130 and filed for "motion to reopen " . The I-130 is approved but the motion to reopen is still pending...What else can i file to safe for from deportation until the motion to reopen is finalized...? I have been here for 14 years , no criminal record, worked and paid taxes... 10 for the years was after the deportation was ordered... When i went to the final Hearing in Sept 2006.. never had a lawyer , asked the judge for an extension but he refused , never even knew between Sept and December i could have appealed it... the judge only told me " you need to be out here buy December"

Hello, At this point you really need an attorney to review all that has happened and guide you to any available options for your situation. This is too complex for you to try to do on your own. You may find an attorney on the "Find A Lawyer" tab on Lawyers.com or by contacting your local state bar. Good Luck.
