In order for a foreign national to be able to be employed in the U.S., he/she must have a visa that authorizes employment. There are various types of visas, each with their own eligibility requirements, periods of duration, and other considerations. There really is no substitute for consulting with an immigration attorney who could explore with you your work/professional credentials, details about your family's business that wants to hire you, details about the job requirements, etc. in order to advise you about eligibilities, options and strategies. Some immigration law firms, including mine, offer legal services on a "flat fee" basis so that a client will know the total expense from the very beginning, and a few immigration law firms, including mine, offer an initial consultation free of charge.

It will depend on whether or not you qualify for a working visa. Having a family member willing to hire you, in and of itself is not enough. I suggest that either you or your family consult with an experienced immigration attorney to review your situation and see what, if anything, you qualify for.
