what is green letter from embassy?what does it means?

i had an interview last july 1,2013 in embassy for k1 visa,i dont recieved any result and scheduled again was on july 11,2013 expecting that i should get the result but im still hanging until now and i decided that my fiance to call them.and when my fiancee called them they asked if i recieved a green letter.,what does green letter means? it means i denied?

It does not necessarily mean you were denied. It is used to request more information after the interview.
