More details to this question:
I filed I-130 for my wife 5 months ago. It is still in initial review stage. My wife now is in the 2nd month of pregnancy. I filed this through an attorney but I do not have any response from my attorney for almost a month now. I hope my attorney still fine and respond to me. Or any of you can tell me about my concern. Please.

If your wife is overseas and the petition is pending, there is really no way to expedite it. If your attorney has filed the petition, there is really not much he/she can do to speed it up even if your wife is pregnant. The process takes about 9-12 months from filing to visa issuance.

The I-130's are being routed all over the country for adjudication and some offices are faster than others. You can call the 800 # to inquire and/or call you r attorney.

I hope you are a US citizen. If your attorney doesn't reply to you soon, you better find another one. If you have to ?- go to the office to see why he does not reply to you.
