More details to this question:
i'm a naturalized US citizen. i have a felony record. all sentenced is served and probation period is done more 4 years now. i am planning to visit my family in my home country. will i encounter any problem reentering the US at the immigration? please let me know what can possibly happen? thank you in advance.
The question is whether you had the felony prior to becoming a U. S. citizen or afterwards. If the latter, such would not affect your admissibility to the U. S. If the former, the question would be whether you disclosed the felony on your N-400 application for citizenship. If you did and U.S.C.I.S. still granted you the citizenship, you would be OK even though you might have an uncomfortable time at the port of entry while Customs and Border Protection officers attempt to go through your immigration history. If you did not, you would be removable and most likely sent to the immigration court for removal proceedings.
