More details to this question:
In 2005,my mother did not show up to a immigration court with me in San Antonio Texas,I was 5 years old,now I am 19 and have 2 US born kids.I have lived most of my life in Georgia. In May 2018, I traveled to Michigan with my partner to work, we were stopped by the police because he was supposedly speeding,I was asked for an ID and they immediately called Border Patrol to come take me since I was an Immigrant. I was in jail for 3 months and than i was Deported,I have been in my country for a year now. I was called by my Lawyer and i was told my case was finally reopened and that the Hearing was scheduled for September 23,2018(Today) and was told the judge wanted to me to go to the Consulate and ask if it could be done through Video Call. The woman from the consulate told my lawyer's assistant that the hearing could only be done through Phone call.I called today to confirm the Hearing and the assistant told me the judge changed hearing to in 6 more months! Is my case being handled right?

As you know, things are very chaotic at the southwestern border, so glitches and delays are to be expected. I do not imagine that your lawyer is to blame for the rescheduling of your case. Many people are scrambling around trying to figure out how to have their cases processed.
