What will happen to my boyfriend after being held for the VOP?

My boyfriend had two prior misdemeanors one DV one bad check two years ago he was arrested and convicted of a felony failure to pay tacex on his business was sentenced to felony probation and to pay restitution 8 months into probation he heard that immigration would be waiting for him when he reported to probation. he has been in US since he is 4 now 50 but never gained legal citizenship never followed through on anything to make him legal. He got scared and jumped probation left the state. He went back to visit a year in half later and was arrested for the violation of probation. He is currently being held for the VOP but it does not say anything about a hold over. Does that mean that ICE does not want him because it doesn't say it on line when you look at his arrest at the county jail he is in?
