QUESTION

Which forms?

More details to this question:
Hello, my husband (US citizen residing in Australia ) and I are about to petition for a Visa on my behalf with a view to moving to the US at some point next year. I am hoping you can answer the following questions for me: What other forms besides the I-130 and the Affidavit of Support do we need to lodge? I have read about an I-485 Adjustment of Status, do we need to lodge this also once the Visa has been approved? Do I need to be in the USA to do this or is this able to be done from Australia once my petition for a Visa has been approved? I need to be able to work as soon as possible after my Visa has been granted, do I need to wait for the Adjustment of Status to be granted before I can receive a work permit or is a work permit something different, and if so how do I go about applying for it? There is a wealth of information out there, but everything I think I have it all covered I find something new. Any help would be appreciated.
