More details to this question:
My N400 naturalization interview was scheduled on March 30th. I received call from USCIS that my interview is cancelled. I call USCIS they said due to reduce work force they will schedule the interview. The I visit the field office and they said there is name clearance issue form FBI. Then I call 800 (2nd level of customer service) and came to know that my background investigation has been completed and due to some internal issue they cancel your interview. All three times I got different answers. What can be the possible reason and how long it will take to reschedule the interview? Please help.

I would bet that one of the three answers they gave you is correct. You can hire a lawyer to dig for the answers if you like.
