Will a misdemeanor committed after sending my application for the deferred action affect me?

More details to this question:
I was arrested at target on September 11 for shoplifting and I was given a cite release and I have to go to court in November but DHS has scheduled me for my biometrics for the deferred action on October 9. What should I do?

Yes, a shoplifting charge can impact your application. You need to discuss your options with the attorney who filed your deferred action application.

Show up for your biometric appointment. It is possible that you will be denied the deferred action on the basis of the legal action, but if you don't show up for the appointment, you will definitely be denied.

Yes, it will effect you and not in a good way. Hire an attorney immediately to see if they can get you out of the criminal charge or at least reduce it so it won't effect your immigration.
