QUESTION

Will it be a problem to get a greencard?

Asked on Aug 27th, 2013 on Immigration - Florida
More details to this question:
I came to the US to volunteer for 3 months, I met someone and overstayed my 3 months visitor visa We got married about a year later but things didn't work out so we split up. I never filed for a visa previously I met someone new a couple of years ago and I am now filing for a divorce so we can get married. We are expecting a baby in 3 months, will it be a big problem with immigration due to my status and previous marriage? We live in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

If you came on a visa and you marry a US citizen, you will be okay (assuming you get divorced before remarriage).
