My husband is a citizen and he is been out of work for 1 year. I enroll my kids on medicaid because I can affort my health insurance. Can this affect when I'm ready to file for my citizenship?

Generally speaking, if you do not file for any Federal benefits, you will not have any issues with your citizenship.
