My girlfriend and I met over 2 years ago online, and have been holding steady communications since then. This July, she plans to visit, and stay with me for 8 weeks. She will have over $1500 in her bank account, and will be providing all sorts of ties from home, including a letter from her parents (She is 20) as well as a letter from her University indicating when she is expected back to continue her studies, proof that she has paid her accommodation for next year. She has already bought her ticket, and filled out the appropriate forms. However, I''ve been worried for the longest time that she could be denied. What are the chances of her being denied entry? I currently have a job as well, so I can provide her lodging, food, travel, etc. She will be coming from the UK
Hello,
Your girlfriend would probably be allowed in without problems if in addition to the facts you have mentioned, she has not been to the U.S. and over stayed previously. As she is coming from the U.K. she can enter with a visa waiver. Good luck.
