I have "green card" issued on 9/2011. I got it almost at the same time with my husband. He applied employment based "green card" and added me when filed for I-140 in year 7/2003. We married in 6/2003 Will my "green card" be affected by divorce at this time? Thanks.
Hello,
It sounds like you have a 'permanent' green card which you got through your husband's employment because you were his dependent. If that is the case your divorce will not affect your green card.
