QUESTION

Will my unused b2 effect future ESTA visas

Asked on May 03rd, 2021 on Immigration - New York
More details to this question:
Hello, I am an Irish citizen and last year before covid I just finished my J1 and stayed on to travel with a b2 which was approved. Before it ran out I tried to extend again before covid hit and as a result I returned home to Ireland before finding out if it was approved or not. Before leaving I changed my address to my uncles in jersey and he received the letter months later stating it was denied as I left the states. My question is will this denial effect futures attempts to obtain a esta visa for a vacation.

This is not a simple situation, it would depend on the date of the receipt of the B-2 Request for an extension as well as your I-94. Now, those are not the only facts to be considered when it comes to applying for a visitor visa or ESTA.
