QUESTION

Will the embassy grant a visa to a second wife?

Asked on Nov 18th, 2015 on Immigration - New Jersey
More details to this question:
We've been married 16 years and have kids together. We got divorced and 8 months later we back together. Now I discovered that during the time we were divorced he got married to someone else abroad. And he applied for a fiancé visa for her as he submitted our divorce decree with the application. He wants to have her come here and live here as in our religion its permissible to have 2 wives. My question is will the embassy grant her a visa? And if she comes will i be in trouble if I don't report him.

As I understand from the limited facts, you are still divorced legally. So you don't have any spousal rights in terms of the immigration law. Even if you did, assuming some facts that come up in a personal interview which is missing here, bigamy is against the law in the USA.
