QUESTION

Will we have problems with any of our immigration matters?

Asked on Feb 09th, 2018 on Immigration - New Jersey
More details to this question:
We both got our LPR via my EB3 and I had 40 work credits. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we had no other choices then after some time later, I applied and approved for my social security retirement benefit for me and my wife. After we got social security, someone told us try for food stamp so we had tried and I and my wife applied and was approved for food stamp without knowing we were eligible or not.

This is not a kind of a question that can be answered without review of the entire record. In general, if there was no fraud in the process and you ended up in the circumstances you are in, then you have nothing to do but to explain the circumstances and hope for the better.
