With H1-B visa valid, is there any maximum time limit for travelling outside USA ?

More details to this question:
I need to travel outside USA 4 months in a year (2 months in summer and 2 months in winter). Can i travel and re-enter USA if i have valid H1-B visa? Is there any maximum time limit that i should not spent outside USA even if i have valid H1-B visa.

There is no maximum time limit for traveling outside the US when holding H-1B status, but you should be able to convince Customs and Border inspection that you still have a bona fide H-1B job in the US. A job letter confirming your continuing employment may help.
