More details to this question:
My husband entered illegally at 16 in 2007 is there a way to fix his papers or green card status . We got married in 2013 we have been married since we have 4 boys 1 of my boys has had severe complications due to a surgery he has received 3 times over the last 3 years which has now put him out and has to receive more surgeries due me and my kids depend on my husband it would be impossible to have him leave to fix from Mexico when we depend on him here I do not work
With Biden's Immigration Executive Order which allows undocumented persons married to U.S. Citizens; this will give the undocumented persons the ability to have their U.S. Citizen spouse petition without them leaving the country. Full details will be release soon; I strongly recommend you have a legal strategy session with an immigration attorney.
If you're a US Citizen, you can sponsor him for a green card. However, since he entered without a visa, you need to file a 601 waiver and the interview would be conducted in Mexico.
