As a small Vermont lodging business financially affected by a government-imposed shutdown, we relied on our business interruption insurance for emergencies like these. Now we're being told by our insurance company that the civil authority shutdown orders are not covered. We feel that the insurer is wrongfully denying us and this is going to financially cripple us and our livelihood. We would appreciate advice and guidance in this matter.
