Can an insurance refuse to cover pipes?

My daughter lives in a mobile home. Her water pipes busted on Christmas Eve. They have insurance on the home. Insurance company put the family in a hotel for 5 weeks. Now she is being told that they don’t cover broken pipes. There is no damage inside the trailer. Can the insurance company deny the broken pipes?

It depends on the terms of the policy- on one hand, they honored the claim and put your daughter up in a hotel, I do not see why they recognized one part of the claim and not the other.
You definitely need to consult an insurance claims attorney.
