More details to this question:
My girl friend bought health insurance through blue cross and blue shield, she paid the premium and has been waiting for the imsurance to start and has now been to a physician 2 times and the E.R. 2 times but the physician won't see her because the insurance hasn't started yet and the E.R. Says to see her physician because they are limited in what they can do in her case. When she called the insurance company about it they are trying to make her pay another $200 dollars to start the coverage. Is there any help out there?
