Asked on May 23rd, 2016 on Insurance - Florida
More details to this question:
There is a bodily injury claim against me. The insurance company says they will contact me once a settlement has been reached. They stopped short and I rear ended them. The accident was extremely minor. My airbags didn't even go off. supposedly they have been in treatment for 4 months I feel i'm about to be railroaded.

Your insurance company will handle the claims process. If a lawsuit is filed against you, as the at fault party, then your insurance company should provide you with an attorney to represent you during lititgation.  At this point you may want to stay in contact with your insurance company as the claim process progresses.  I suggest you read the terms and conditions of your insurance policy to determine the obligations of your insurance company for this type of situation.
