QUESTION

Is it possible to fire an insurance adjuster?

Asked on Feb 18th, 2020 on Insurance - Florida
More details to this question:
We signed a contract with an insurance adjuster in Florida to help us with a homeowner’s insurance claim. We found the adjuster we worked with to lack some pretty basic knowledge and acted very carelessly with our claim. In addition, he sent my wife a message requesting a date with her friend (who was at our house when the adjuster and insurance company sent out someone for estimates). We obviously found this very unprofessional on top of the rest.

In theory yes - whether you owe them for the services and how much is a different discussion. You probably shoudl retain an insurance LAWYER at this point understanding that you may need to pay out of pocket until the claim is fully examined.
