my boyfriends mother took him off the insurance and currently has no insurance; what would he do in this situation. He will get fined for not having any insurance and shes making him pay rent; which his father in California is sending 200 a month for rent. He is 18 and works a minimum wage job almost every day and is looking for another job at the moment

Oh heavens above! Making an 18 y/o adult pay his own way? However will he survive? This is not a legal question. This is a family squabble. As an adult if your B/F doesnt like how his mother treats him, the benefit of being an adult is he can also just leave on his own and do what he wants then.
