QUESTION

Access to Court documents for a case

Asked on Nov 03rd, 2015 on Intellectual Property - New York
More details to this question:
If I were interested in acquiring the court documents (i.e. Statements, evidence, and such) for a trial regarding intellectual property, where could I go to get them? I'm thinking about becoming an intellectual property lawyer, and wanted some more info about what the court proceedings really look like. I'll be out of country for some time, is there a way to access them online?

Yes, the court documents are available online for a fee and you would have to a establish a PACER account to do so. This can be done at https://www.pacer.gov/
