I have created a specific rounding protocol for nursing. There are many kinds of rounding routines but this one is very specific. I would like to copyright it. Is that possible?

Yes it can be protected by copyright, but you should realize that copyright only protects copying and not use of the subject matter described in the work.  If the subject matter is sufficiently new, it may be patentable. I suggest you discuss this with a patent attorney or if you are located near the Franklin Pierce Law School which is in your state, perhaps someone there can help you.
