Can I make something that I bought into something else and sell it?

More details to this question:
Over the years, I have collected my favorite drink bottles. So many that I decided to do something with them. I have started to make lamps out of them and selling to friends etc. I put them on eBay for sale and eBay keep taking them down and banned my account on a few occasions for a week at a time and even Paypal have now stopped my account over these. I need to know whether or not that they are allowed to stop me selling these.

It is probably not illegal, but it sounds like it might be against eBay's policies. If so, then, yes, they can stop you.
