Can I put my own articles (which were published before on other websites) on my website?

More details to this question:
I send some my articles to websites and they published it for free. These articles are available for everyone but there is a statement that all content can't be copied etc. Right now, I'm starting with my website.

As long as you did not sign an agreement giving your rights away, you should be fine.
