Can I use a NCAA coaches name on a tee shirt without licensing?

More details to this question:
I would like to print some college tee shirts with no logos on them. Only words which would include a popular coaches first name and the tee shirt will be the teams color. Can i do that without permission or licensing?

Profitting from someone's likeness or identity is likely going to violate that person's rights of publicity. If people are buying the shirt because of the fame of the individual and the shirt declares support/fandom for that individual, you run the risk of being sued for violating the rights of that coach.
