Asked on Mar 28th, 2014 on Intellectual Property - California
More details to this question:
I make beats/instrumentals and sell them online for artists to purchase and use on their albums/mixtapes. Someone has stolen 3 of my beats and has used them to create songs in which they are now selling on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify & various other music stores. i would like to see what rights I have & what can be done about this. I am the registered Author/Owner of the beats.

Update Your Profile
If you own the registration to copyrighted music and someone is infringing, the next step is to meet with an IP litigator. You should find someone relatively close to where you live or, in the very least, in your state, to represent you. You should be able to find someone who will meet with you for a free consultation to discuss what you have and how they can help you. Good luck, Todd
