How should I deal with an Author who doesnt want his work distributed online?

More details to this question:
I run a very popular FB fan page for his comics, however he released this statement saying he doesnt want people distributing his work online. I dont see the fault as im not making any profit from this page, and im merely sharing them rather than sending them to people for their use. Sometimes the issue is control - controlling your brand, controlling your image, etc. When you start posting his work, you take away some of his control. He can stop you from distributing his work online. He is reasserting his control. You can try to work out an arrangement that addresses his concerns, but otherwise you need to be a fan without distributing his work.
