I filled a utility patent and now I am considering to file it in the foreign countries I want to sell to. I heard about PCT but I don’t quite understand what it is. I spent a fortune on my US utility patent application on lawyer. Can PCT be done by myself?

The PCT process is supposed to be easy. But, in practice it is very difficult to get right and failure to do it right can invalidate the whole thing. The software tool they provide is not intuitive and uses language that is very unfamiliar. There are a lot of rules that you need to be aware of when filling it out to do it right.
