QUESTION

What NDA doesn''t protect ? Does only protect the information until it get public ?

More details to this question:
I am software developer, other company hired me to develop their product and normally I have signed NDA. Can I add the software product in my portfolio when the product goes public or the NDA also forbid to be named as a developer of the product.

It depends on the express terms of the confidential disclosure agreement you sign. You need to read the agreement carefully. If you do not wish to be precluded from listing this work as one of your accomplishments in your resume or advertising materials, you should negotiate for that right specifically.
