whos name should be on a improved patent

More details to this question:
if we licened out our product and in the contract it states that the licencee is finacialy responsible for getting any new patents is the licencees name suppose to be on the new patents if it is a licensing agreement

Your name should be listed as inventor even though your licensee is liable for the cost of filing. If you had an attorney prepare your license agreement it would have been in  the contract.

NO! Only those who created the invention should be listed as the inventors. While a patent can be issued in the name of an assignee, that is not the case for a licensee.
