QUESTION

Worried?

Asked on Nov 22nd, 2024 on International Law - Maryland
More details to this question:
I recently filed my I485/I765 from Florida on the 28th October 2024. I filed this all myself with my partner. I’ve now since moved to Maryland where my partner lives and I changed my address the same day I filed because my work program was ending the week after. I still haven’t received anything from USCIS and when I sent my package with UPS they never gave me a tracking number since it was with Ground Advantage? What do I do? Should I re-file?

You notify Uscis that you want to change the field office location because you moved to another state. If you want counsel to represent you, you can always hire someone and they can file a G 28 notice of appearance of attorney of record in the case to take it over. Some of us charge a very affordable flat fee to handle a case midstream.
