More details to this question:
I’m an exempt employee in New York. I was sent to colorado to work. I was changed to non exempt. Now the company is trying to change it the decision on the overtime pay. I’ve worked 18 consecutive days averaging 13 1/2 hours a day completing tasks not in my normal job description. Do I have any recourse?

I dont know. Is colorado a permanent change and if so call a lawyer in that state. If you are not sure about exempt status and still are considered a new York employee call one of us. Those claims are challenging but recovery can be sweet. Good luck. Remember that neither you nor your employer nor your title determines exempt status. It's all about control, discretion independent judgment and specific position and job duties.
