Boss retaliated after I filed a grievance. I had to go to company VP to save my job for fabricated stories. I also made company aware of sexual harassment. Not on person came to discuss this with me. More retaliation and subtle or indirect harassment continued. A year later I had severe anxiety and diagnosed with PTSD. I couldn't function anymore. I went out on FMLA leave. Upon my return I asked for ADA accommodation ( the most basic accommodation that would not hinder this company at all and is a request that would not change anything about my job) I was denied. Not only denied I was given the other end of the spectrum as a punishment. I pled and cried to my boss that my PTSD and anxiety was out of control. Instead my boss sent me to places to work that exxagerates my anxiety and PTSD. I was not allowed any help. That was last August and September. Now it is starting again. This is my bosses boss. He is very much involved in my day to day activities. This is so abnormal. more!!
You have an action against your employer for workplace harassment and disability discrimination, for failure to give a reasonable accomodation for your disability. Depending on the nature of the fabricated stories and how long ago that happened, you may also have an action for slander, if you know who made the statements.
