QUESTION

Advice regarding my boss

Asked on Aug 16th, 2018 on Labor and Employment - New York
More details to this question:
I went to HR supported by fellow co workers. HR responded with a write up and sensitivity classes for my boss. This was back in April. We went again today, situation has not improved. As far as evidence I have a lot of pictures and a recording of derogatory remarks made by my boss. My question is if my boss ends up getting fired can he turn around and sue me and my co workers for deflamation of character?

Anybody can sue anyone. The question I think you want answered is can they win. Truth is a defense. If the boss can prove false statements were made then they might prevail. Discuss with a lawyer.
