am I due payment for my vacation time

More details to this question:
Pemanently laid off. Employer has history of not paying vacation time. I understand there could be a forfeiture clause. I have not been notified in person or on paper by employer of this clause. I plan to hire attorney or call department of labor.

If there is a forfeiture clause that applies to your situation, then you would not be entitled to the vacation time.
